Pilates Mat| Reformer

Zeina’s approach to Pilates is a dynamic one with a focus on improving balance and building stamina. The classes start off with breathing techniques and joints mobilization to start off with a solid foundation to build on. And then steadily increase in intensity and repetition to provide students with an intense result driven fitness class. She creates flows that strengthen the entire body in every direction. Participants will leave feeling graceful and their entire body lengthened. Pilates is easily modified to fit the needs of a beginner, intermediate or advanced student.

HiiT Pilates Mat

This is a 45 minutes class packed with high and low intensity full body exercises. The High Intensity Bursts are matched with a slower muscle activation exercises (Pilates). This focuses the mind and body on the correct techniques and muscle patterns required. She focuses on quality over quantity throughout the session . Science reports that HiiT burns fat for up to 24h after the session!

Barre

Zeina likes to incorporate all dance styles by designing moves to a balanced playlist including Electro-Swing, Old School, Raggaeton, Latin, Bollywood, Belly Dance, ect…she takes inspiration from her dance training, and adds Belly Dancing, Twist, Salsa or Jazz moves to her class routine. Having fun during workout is crucial, fitness should not be torturous. You can expect a low intensity, dynamic and energized workout session and to break a sweat!

Belly Dance Fit

Belly Dance is one of the most beautiful, exciting, and sensual forms of self-expression. It is empowering, uplifting, healing, and fun! The classes are Beginner friendly and will be taught with Arabic music. 

Participants will learn basic Belly Dance technique, and will work a sweat with a cardio based workout that uses belly – dance inspired steps to boost the metabolism, increase heart rate, boost weight loss potential while focusing on core strengthening and posture (believe it’s or not – it’s similar to Pilates)

Participants will also learn a Choreography. They will learn movements, transitional steps while maintaining count and musicality. But most importantly they will have fun!

Tip for clients: Wear comfortable layers that allow movement and if possible, a belly dance belt (or any other shawl or foulard that you can wrap around your waist), and bring your water bottle. Yes this class will make you sweat! 

Stretching and Mobility

Zeina will guide you as you work on your Mobility & Flexibility. You will learn how to release and let go & allow the energy to flow more freely throughout your body.

Through blending relaxation, breath into your dynamic & static stretches, you will achieve a noticeable progress in your flexibility & overall posture.

Prenatal Pilates

If you’re looking to stay active and feeling good throughout those nine months, look no further than Pilates . Preparing your body for when your baby comes is crucial. As your baby starts growing & his weight increases , you need a strong core, and strong arms and upper back to help you protect your spine while holding your baby, lifting and carrying the giant stroller and the heavy car seat you will be taking around with you!

Pilates can support you during those 9 months , it is especially beneficial for your mental health, and for helping in decreasing pregnancy-related aches and pains. Pilates will teach you to listen and connect to your body and to listen to your intuition, it will also prepare you for a smooth labor and delivery. Zeina will apply modifications to suit your stage of pregnancy and energy levels, while keeping safety at the forefront.

It is recommended to consult your doctor before starting a new workout routine, and to obtain clearance to start Pilates during pregnancy.

Post-natal Pilates

You can regain your abdominal strength and tone post pregnancy. Yes it is possible, and you did not lose all your muscles. You will learn how to connect to your deep core and pelvic floor, how to fix bladder leaks, manage prolapse and heal diastasis recti (commonly referred to as separated abdominals). Zeina will apply modifications to suit you, while keeping safety at the forefront.

It is recommended to consult your doctor before starting a new workout routine, and to obtain clearance to start Pilates after delivery.
