How? Why and Who can practice Pilates?

I have one answer to this question. Yes, we should all do Pilates! Because exercising alongside any other type of sport you love, helps you protect your body from injuries.

But what does that mean? For example, if YOU like to practice tennis, jogging, dancing, Zumba, or any other type of sport, you should practice a type of sport that strengthens muscles and works on the flexibility of the body in a healthy and appropriate way for your body type.

And if you neglect this issue, and keep on practicing your beloved sport, such as football or ballet for many years… it can result in injuries if you do not pay attention to your body and do not work within a framework that protects you.

I have one answer to this question. Yes, we should all do Pilates! Because exercising alongside any other type of sport you love, helps you protect your body from injuries.

Which leads to the second question: Is Pilates a sport that should only be practiced by people who have injuries?

And the golden answer is a sure NO!

Everyone, from the age of five to the age of ninety years, should practice Pilates. Of course, there are adjustments to the exercises to suit the age of the person and the person’s body condition.

Pilates is considered a safe sport and helps you avoid injuries, and if you do get injured, these exercises allow you to get your body back in strength faster than if you never exercised. It is worth noting, that it is important to get your children used to doing Pilates alongside any sport they love so that they can benefit from it for a lifetime.

If I don’t feel any pain now, why should I do Pilates?

I regret to inform you that after a certain age (30 years and above) symptoms begin to appear!

As we get older, our body will not be able to serve us as it was before. Imagine for a moment that your body is like a Ferrari, will you drive it crazy and hit a wall, breaking and smashing completely? I do not think so! And your body is like a Ferrari, you must take care of it and provide it with the necessary maintenance, and Pilates is the solution!
